My name is Doug Nellis. I have applied to fill the open position on the Seattle City Council formerly occupied by Tim Burgess, Seattle's newest mayor. This temporary appointment will last from October 6 to November 28, after which either Jon Grant or Teresa Mosqueda will fill Seattle City Council Position 8 for the next four years. That means I will have only 35 workdays to advance my agenda for the good people of Seattle. With no time to lose, I plan to accomplish one thing each day. Below is my list of the 35 things I will do in 35 days on the Seattle City Council.
